We mean well, but life gets in the way and, before we know it, the opportunity has passed. Food Bank Seeks Volunteers

I am looking for an able-bodied volunteer to accompany me to the Greater Boston Food Bank once a month. We have a standing appointment for the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30, so we need to leave about 10:30 a.m. A Red Cross truck meets us there and transports the food. I just need someone to ride into Boston with me, help me load the truck, ride back with me and help us unload the truck at the Food Pantry. The whole thing takes about two hours. read more »
