A Mayoral debate between incumbent, Mayor Thomas McLaughlin and Scott Galvin is planned for tomorrow night, Wednesday, October 21st. Doors open at 6:00PM and the debate will start at 6:30PM. This debate will be moderated by John Murphy, Senior V.P. and Director of Business Development for Reading Cooperative Bank. The debate will take place at Woburn Memorial High School and will be broadcast live on cable, courtesy of the Woburn Public Media Center.
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. is the deadline to register to vote or to change a registration, such as a name or address change for the Municipal Election to be held on November 3, 2009 in the City of Woburn. The Office of the City Clerk will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on October 14, 2009 to accommodate voters.
