Show your Support at "A Night for the Fisher Family" this Friday!

On October 9th, Allen Fisher, a Woburn resident, was tragically struck by a car. After fighting for his life in the hospital, he passed away on October 15 due to severe injuries. The families of the Woburn E2 football team are hosting a fundraiser event on November 16 at 7pm at the Sons of Italy. Please come down and support the Fisher family. 

The event will be hosted by DJ Anthony Parziale from WAAF and will include a silent auction, raffle and food. There will be a $25 charge at the door with all proceeds going directly to Allen's wife and children.

St. Charles Borromeo Parish 150th Anniversary Events!

St. Charles 150th Anniversary Save the Date

St. Charles Borromeo Parish is celebrating its historic 150th Anniversary this month with a few fun-filled events. On November 3 at 4:00pm, there will be a mass followed by a gala celebration dinner at Montvale Plaza in Stoneham. Cocktails will kickoff at 5:30pm and dinner will be served at 7pm! Tickets for this event and the 150 raffle can be obtained at the Rectory. 

The events don't stop here because on the following day at 10am St. Charles will be holding a mass/feast of St. Charles Borromeo as well as a mass for deceased members of the parish. This will then be followed by a coffee social and the 150 ticket drawing.

2nd Annual Oktoberfest at Spence Farm

Get into the Oktoberfest spirit right here in Woburn! On Saturday, October 13 from 1-5:30pm, Spence Farm will be hosting its 2nd Annual Oktoberfest! Last year's festival was a smashing success with traditional German food and drinks, live music, 50/50 raffle, and tyrolean hat decorating! The farm will also be hosting a craft and artisan fare. If you are looking for a guaranteed great time, then don't miss this event! 

NuPath raises over $10,000 during “Laugh Out Loud”

NuPath’s newest event “Laugh Out Loud” proved to be a smashing success, raising over $10,000 from the proceeds of ticket sails, raffle donations, and silent auction bids. The event, which took place at the Montvale Plaza in Stoneham on September 28th, was headlined by Showtime’s “Funniest Person in Massachusetts” comedian Tony V., who kept the crowd of 150 roaring throughout the night.  All proceeds from the event, which boasted not only an unforgettable performance by Tony V. but dance music by the band Strictly Overtime and a delicious buffet dinner went to support the 350 adults with developmental disabilities that NuPath serves.

Annual $20,000 Pot of Gold Raffle

The Boys & Girls Club of Woburn is holding their Annual $20,000 Pot of Gold Raffle.  Tickets are $100 and the Grand Prize will be drawn at the St. Patrick’s Day Social on March 17 at the Boys & Girls Club of Woburn.  There are a limited number of tickets still available; contact the club today to get yours!
