Tanner Tavern - local bistro plus
Whether you'd like to grab a good lunch, a light dinner, a hearty gourmet meal, or simply enjoy a beer or glass of wine with friendly folk, I'd highly recommend visitng the Tanner Tavern of Main Street (across from Cousins). Their wide menu has something good for everyone, and the local talk is there too for sports, politics, events, etc. They are a great addition to downtown Woburn, providing local fare with a local flair!
Breakfast
Want the best breakfast in town? I have been in Woburn since 1978 and the best breakfast in town is and always has been obtained at Cousins downtown. They open early and close just after lunch. They use to be a 7 day a week operation but even Betty and Dave need a day off so they are no longer open on Sunday. This is a family owned and operated restaurant with everyone from sons/ daughters/ cousins/ neices/ nephews and grand kids waiting on you. If you stop in say hello to Billy or Betty as they are the only two that do the cooking! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! PM
The Bistro Au Bon Pain
Description:
Thanks to The Bistro Au Bon Pain for donating the prize for the person who contributes the most content to the site this month. This is bound to be a tasty treat, as they have a wide array of great food at the Bistro. Speaking of which, you can view their full menu by clicking here.So here's one example of the kind of content you can add to the site...share one of your favorite places to eat...and upload or link to their menu if possible. Over time the site will then have suggestions for local restuarants with access to menus all in one place. Eating at local restuarants is one fun way to build social capital!
