Once again, the Woburn Post Office, located at 462 Washington St., will be holding a Passport Fair on Saturday, November 17th. between the hours of 9am-5pm. Customers are encouraged to apply during that time. Refreshments will be provided.
Public demand for Passports is increasing steadily as the new Federal Regulations require all travelers to have a valid Passport if they are traveling by air to and from Bermuda, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, as well as Central and South America. We are encouraging everyone to apply now. If you will be traveling to those locations for the February, March or April school vacations, now is the time to apply. New applications are currently taking 6 to 8 weeks for processing.
In order to simplify the process, we ask that you come prepared with the following documents:
NEW APPLICANTS
and those who have lost their passport must provide the following:
Completed DS 11 Application – DO NOT SIGN IT
You may stop in prior to the above date to pick up your orange DS 11 form. The form is available in the Post Office lobby or you may print one out on the web at www.travel.state.gov
Your LONG form CERTIFIED Birth Certificate or your Naturalization Certificate
* Must show the Date of RECORD
* We do not accept photo copies
* Hospital certificates are NOT accepted
VALID Drivers License – NO temporary licenses or permits
Children Under the age of 14 must be present with BOTH PARENTS
Children 14 and over must be present with at least ONE PARENT
TWO IDENTICAL 2 X 2 Passport Photos – Must have a WHITE background
We do are not equipped to take photos of infants
If we take your photo, our fee is $15. for the set
CHECK or MONEY ORDER made out to the Dept. of State for the following fees:
* Our office DOES NOT accept Credit Card payment for Passports.
Regular Processing (6-8 weeks) Adult 16+ $67. Minor Under 16 $52.
Expedited Processing (3-4 weeks) Adult 16+ $127. Minor Under 16 $112.
This expedited processing fee does not include overnight delivery.
If you wish to have the Department of State return your passport via Express Mail, there is an additional USPS charge of $16.25 for postage.

If you are traveling within 2 weeks we CANNOT accept your application. You must make an appointment to apply in person at the Boston Passport Office.

RENEWALS
Minors Under age 14 must present both their old passport and their LONG form
Certified Birth Certificate, and be accompanied by BOTH parents.
Minors 14 and over must present their old passport and be accompanied by at least ONE parent.
We DO NOT accept ADULT RENEWALS. You must submit your renewal to the address listed on the DS 82 Renewal Form. It is strongly suggested that you send your renewal via Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, so that you have a tracking number. If you pay the additional fee to expedite your renewal please mark the envelope “Expedite”. If any of the following apply, you will not be able to renew by mail and we will accept your application as a NEW APPLICANT.
your passport expired more than 5 years ago
you were under 16 when your old passport was issued
you cannot submit your most recent passport
your present name does not match your previous passport and you cannot provide a certified marriage certificate or court order showing the change of name
