Help Replenish

Food Pantry Shelves 

 

 The end of summer/beginning of autumn typically finds The Council of Social Concern Food Pantry shelves depleted. The Council appeals to the Woburn Business Members to do what you can to help replenish stock so it can provide a variety of nutritious foods for our "neighbors in need."

 

Food donations can be brought to the Woburn Business Association - Social Concern Network Gathering on November 28, 2007.

 

Following is a list of items needed:

 

Fruit Juice (Apple and Cranberry)

Large Boxes of Instant Mashed Potatoes

Stuffing Mixes

Rice and Rice Preparation Mixes

Cans of Green Beans, canned peas, cans of corn

Jars of Turkey and Chicken Gravy

Cereal (hot or cold)

Condiments - soups - cans of chicken brother

Dessert mixes (bread, brownies, cake mixes, jello, pudding, etc.)

Cans of Cranberry Sauce

Cans of Fruit

Canned meat (stew, spam, chili, etc)

Canned lunch (Spaghettios, etc)

Cookies, Nuts and Crackers

Coffee, Tea and Hot chocolate

 

$10.00 Gift Certificates to local markets will be appreciated to be used toward turkey purchases.
