MLK Day Luncheon

This Monday, January 20, 2020 is the annual Martin Luther King Jr Day luncheon at St. John's Baptist Church in Woburn.  The keynote speaker this year is Julia Mejia, Boston's newly appointed City Councilor at Large.  Ms Mejia moved to Boston at age 5 from the Domincan Republic, was raised by a single, undocumented mother and became the first member of her family to graduate from high school and college.  She understands what it means to overcome adversity.

We at SCI Woburn look forward to seeing the community come together for this wonderful event in celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's activism and service.  The MLK Day Luncheon begins at 12 PM at 38-40 Everett Street in Woburn.  For more information please call 781-935-4314 or Twalker@sjbc.info.

This event is open to the public and tickets are a suggested donation of $25 for adults and $15 for children under 12.
