Woburn Youth Council Recruiting New Members

hands

The Woburn Youth Council (WYC) is a program designed to place young people in middle and high school in leadership roles to help address community needs. Under the guidance of AmeriCorps advisors, council members are able to participate in community service opportunities based on their interests. Members will earn volunteer hours for each meeting and service-learning event they attend and are eligible for service awards based on those hours. The WYC meets every Tuesday at the Club, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Regular and consistent attendance is a crucial component to the council’s ability to fulfill its mission to serve the community and inspire young civic leaders.
