Woburn Boys and Girls Club Seeks Volunteer Basketball Coaches

The Woburn Boys and Girls Club is looking for volunteer coaches for it's three instructional basketball programs. Note, almost 400 members participate in our Biddy, Buddy and Intermediate Basketball Programs. The only way that we are able to offer this program for $15 per child is due to the generosity of our
volunteer coaches.

 
Biddy Basketball League

Grades 2-4

Practices: Tuesday-Friday (5:00 pm or 6:00 pm once per week)

Games:  Saturday (9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am or Noon once per week)

Buddy Basketball League

Grades 5 and 6

Practices: Tuesday-Friday (7:00 pm or 8:00 pm once per week)

Games:  Saturday (1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm once per week)

 
Buddy Basketball League

Grades 7 and 8

Practices: Tuesday-Friday (7:00 pm or 8:00 pm once per week or every other week)

Games:  Thursday night (6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm once per week)

 
***Coaches can work in teams with each team if it is more convenient***

***The season begins in early December***

***There will be a tryout session and draft prior to the season*** 

We are looking for fun and reliable coaches who will work to instill a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship in our kids!  This will be a great opportunity for the kids to interact with adult role models.
