This week the discussion will be focusing on saftey and security and how it is imprtant to Seniors. Also discussed will be information about financial products offered for personal planning. This weeks discussion will be presented by Chandrani Jayasekera from the New York Life Insurance Company

A breakfast buffet for those attending the lecture will be served at 9:45am for $1 per breakfast, supported by “Friends Helping Seniors” and AARP Secure Horizons. Breakfast will be followed by the free lecture at 10:30am.

Catered towards Beginner Birders. Join Diana Frugugliette and Paul Ippolito as they explore the varied habitats of the Horn Pond Conservation Area.  In search of local breeding birds including the Prairie Warbler, Field Sparrow, Indigo Bunting, Brown Thrasher and Eastern Towhee.  This walk has terrain that may be uneven with muddy areas possible.  Be sure to bring your binoculars, cameras and a Bird Field Guide if you have one....and don't forget the bug spray.

The Woburn Senior Center, 144 School Street, will host a discussion entitled, “The New Uniform Probate Court Rules and the Impact on Guardianship; Power of Attorney and Health Care Proxy” on Wednesday, July 29th at 10:30am.  Attorney Andrea Natsios will be on hand to answer questions regarding this important topic.  For those wishing to arrive early, a breakfast buffet is offered to participants attending the lecture for $1.&
