Middle school students are invited to join the Middle School Book Club which meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7pm. Each meeting is a chance to talk about a great book, sample tasty snacks and make new friends. The first meeting of the school year is Wednesday, October 10 at 7pm. To join the group, just come to the meeting or contact Christi Showman Farrar at the library. Start: 7:00 pm

The Woburn CoffeeHouse is an exciting way to bring people together, share ideas, artistic mediums and break bread over a hot mug of coffee or tea! The CoffeeHouse takes place from 7pm - 9pm at the North Suburban YMCA. We look forward to seeing you there! If you or anyone you know is a poet, musician, performance or visual artist, dancer, etc. please feel free to inquire about being a feature performer at the Woburn CoffeeHouse, the hottest thing in town! The Woburn Boys & Girls Club is putting on a Fiesta Shows carnival from May 14, 2008 to May 18, 2008 at the National Amusements (Showcase Cinemas) site at 25 Middlesex Canal Park. Every year the Fiesta Shows come around offering exciting rides, games and classic carnival food! Fun for the whole family! Watch the local newspapers for information on "wristband" discount nights.
