The Woburn Redevelopment Authority will be holding a public meeting on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, from 7pm - 9pm at the Woburn Police Station, 25 Harrison Avenue, to receive public comment regarding the City’s Community Development Strategy. The Strategy is a requirement of the Massachusetts Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). It serves to summarize the planning documents used by the community, and to outline a plan of action intended to accomplish specific goals that will have an impact upon the community. Start: 7:00 pm

Passport Fair Once again, the Woburn Post Office, located at 462 Washington St., will be holding a Passport Fair on Saturday, November 17th. between the hours of 9am-5pm. Customers are encouraged to apply during that time. Refreshments will be provided. Public demand for Passports is increasing steadily as the new Federal Regulations require all travelers to have a valid Passport if they are traveling by air to and from Bermuda, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, as well as Central and South America. We are encouraging everyone to apply now. If you will be traveling to those locations for the February, March or April school vacations, now is the time to apply. New applications are currently taking 6 to 8 weeks for processing. | ||
