Some people are so smart & problem solvers its amazing! and from a different perspective, we take something so simple as windows and sunlight for granted, thats a luxury in a third world country,in Thailand a bathroom with running water (toilet) is a luxury that only the very wealthyhave! something we consider a basic necessity.

9th Annual Native American Pow Wow

Dancer1The Woburn Residents Environmental Network (WREN) presents Woburn’s Ninth Annual Native American Pow Wow at Berry Meadow, Altavesta School, located at 990 Main St., Route 38, in North Woburn on Saturday, July 30, and Sunday July 31, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The grand entry will be at noon on both days.

The event features traditional Native American drumming, singing, dancing, storytelling, sacred fire ceremony, traditional arts and crafts, and Native American food.

Come and listen to the haunting music provided by native drums and flutes.  Come watch colorful dancers.  (You can even dance with them yourself).

Come join us at Spence Farm for our very first pony plop.  There will be 300 squares and the square where the pony drops her first "plop" wins $2600 and the four adjoining squares will win $100 each.

This event will be held on Sunday, April 10th from 10:30-1:30.   Other events for the day include lots of free family activities including education, a bouncy house, petting zoo, hay rides, games, crafts, and a DJ.
