The Woburn Guild of Artists Host Demonstration at New Horizons
This Thursday October 16th, the Woburn Guild of Artists will be presenting a demonstration by professional artist Kathy Cooper. The meeting and demo will be held in the Terrace Lounge at New Horizons on 21 Warren Ave. at 7PM. The meetings are open to the public. Admission is free to Guild members, and there is a $3.00 fee for non-members.
Kathy Cooper is a representational oil painter who paints landscapes, seascapes, plein air, figurative. and specializes in still life with roses. Kathleen Cooper's interest in art started in childhood. She began her career in graphic design and illustration. Cooper studied art and advertising at Southwest Texas State University and Texas State Technical Institute. Later on, Kathleen attended the Srebnik Atelier Program in Massachusetts. Here she dedicated herself to landscape painting, an in-depth study of human anatomy, and the Grand Masters.
The Woburn Guild of Artists is a recognized cultural group that strives to fulfill it's goals of promoting interest and diversity in the arts. Membership is open throughout the year to snyone interested in art or the related fields. Students, professionals, and Sunday painters are all welcome
