Woburn Earth Day 2008
On Saturday, April 19th from 10:00AM to 2:00PM Woburn will be celebrating its annual Earth Day program at the Woburn Mall, 300 Mishawum Road and is being sponsored by WREN (Woburn Residents Environmental Network) and The Woburn Mall. The reason for this letter is to ask you to get involved in some way with our program. There is no charge to set up a display and tables can be provided also at no cost. This event has grown each year since Woburn started doing it in 1990 and with your participation it will continue to do so. There will be displays by local businesses, organizations and groups. This has become an informational day as well as an environmental day with information about goings on in and around Woburn. There is a grocery bag coloring program for children from local Schools and that attend decorating grocery bags that will be given to Market Basket at the mall to give out to there customers. We have give aways for attendees that are provided by some of the participants like pencils, seed packs, etc. We also hold a free raffle for all attendees.
In closing it would be greatly appreciated if your organization could get involved in some way in what I believe is a truly great program. If you have any questions at 781-938-0297 or e-mail me at: paulderman@verizon.net

Update
This event is looking to be the best to date. We have 25 different participating groups. Thanks to Lori at the Woburn Mall for coordinating the groups and the entertainment and KGI Properties for providing the location. Please stop by! I guarantee that there is something for everyone.
Thanks
