Woburn Civic Welcome Wagon

The Woburn Civic Welcome Wagon will be starting up again this week! The Welcome Wagon is made up of current Woburn residents who have volunteered to go out and greet people and families who have recently moved to the Woburn area. New residents are greeted with a booklet of helpful information including local government figure information, helpful Woburn websites, and a calendar of events among other things.

The booklet also includes important numbers such as to city departments, local schools, and local Woburn hospitals and emergency numbers. It also includes detailed information about local organizations and other generally helpful information to have if you are new to Woburn. Along with the booklet new residents get voter registration information, postal service information, a small gift, and most importantly a familiar face to say "hello" to!
