Wiffle Ball Tournament to Benefit Families of Newtown Victims
Mike Winn, team manager from the NE Cal Ripkin Regional Tournament, is organizing a charity wiffle ball tournament in Woburn to benefit the victim's fund for the families of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, CT.
This fun, non-competitive tournament is for people of all ages. It will kick off on Saturday, January 26 at 11:00am at Extra Innings (31 Draper St., Woburn). It will be followed by another day of charity wiffle ball tournaments on January 27.
Teams of 5 can sign up for $50 to play a one hour game. They will be matched with other teams around the same age. Teams can also block off a whole hour for $100 and families, neighbors and co-workers can play against each other!
If you would like to sign up for a team or sponsor an event, please contact Mike Winn at michaelwinn33@yahoo.com.
