Online Job Search Workshop - Postponed!

The Woburn Public Library will be offering a series of employment workshops with Gary Gekow, a Senior Employment Specialist with 21 years of recruiting experience in the Boston staffing industry.  He works closely with client companies in many industries and job seekers in various specialties.

These workshops will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Library study hall and are free. You are not required to attend all workshops, you may pick and choose which ones interest you. But you are required to register for any or all of the workshops.

June 17, 2010 at 6:30 p.m.: Online Job Search and Resume Submittal Workshop: We will analyze and discuss numerous online search strategies including job alerts, job boards, job aggregators, and company employment pages. We will then discuss techniques to best utilize these web sites as they relate to submitting one’s resume.

Update: This workshop, which had been scheduled for Thursday June 17th, has been postponed.  There is no current data on when it might be rescheduled to.
