Intrepid Keystone Club Receives Two Awards For Their Service

Intrepid Keystone Club Award Recipients

Congratulations to the Intrepid Keystone Club of the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn! On Sunday, December 2, they received two Boys and Girls Clubs of America Northeast Regional Keystone Awards.

The teens received the 2012 National Project Award for their service trip to Joplin, Missouri, entitled "After the Cameras Leave." In August, the teens travelled to MO to serve with the organization Rebuild Joplin, assisting with efforts to support families affected by a devestating tornado in May of 2011.

The Club's Education and Leadership Development Director, Megan Gambale, also received an award for the 2012 Northeast Regional Keystone Advisor of the Year award. Megan has been with the organization for 4 years, originally serving as a member of the SCI AmeriCorps program. Currently, she coordinates all academic and service learning programs at the Clubhouse.
