Free Concert - O’hAnleigh at Citizens Park

SCI is pleased to be joining with the the Woburn Redevelopment Authority (WRA) and the Woburn Residents Environmental Network (WREN) to present the Citizens Park Concert Series. Now in its sixth year, this series brings a diverse array of talented musical groups to perform for Woburn residents.

Bring your family, friends, and lawn chairs to Citizens Park to enjoy some great music and the company of your fellow community members.

Citizens Park is located on Main Street (Route 38) in Woburn Center, across from the Common. All concerts will start at 7 p.m.

On Friday, August 22nd, O’hAnleigh will be performing, sponsored by Sean P. Coakley.

The Middlebury trio óhAnléigh draws on their ancestral roots and diverse musical talent to entertain audiences with the lively and haunting rhythms of Irish and Irish American culture. The band has developed a diverse and unique sound, playing everything from haunting ballads to Irish folk and rollicking pub songs; Irish-American tin pan alley tunes, songs of rebellion, and traditional Celtic sets.

This will be the last concert in the 2008 Citizens Park Summer Concert Series.
