Charles Dickens first did a dramatic reading of "A Christmas Carol" in Boston in 1867. Mr. Dickens will once again be in the Greater Boston area on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at the Woburn Masonic Building to read "A Christmas Carol." This is the one man play that has wowed audiences all over the world. Local actor, Kim Carrell, will be portraying Charles Dickens.
There will be two shows, one at 2:00 p.m. which is open to kids and adults ($15 for adults and $5 for children under 12). There will be snacks and soft drinks served at this show. The second show will be
at 8:00 p.m., with a dinner beforehand starting at 6:30 p.m. This show is adults only (21+, $25 per person or $40 per couple).
