City Of Woburn Water Advisory

The following announcement was sent out to the citizen's of Woburn

This is the Woburn Department of Public Works. Due to a gasoline spill at a gas station on Pleasant Street near Horn Pond , the DPW has taken the precaution of shutting down the city wells and switching over to MWRA water service. The spill has been cleaned up and we expect that things will return to normal no later than Monday. During this transition of our water supplies...you may experience some discovered water. We apologize for any inconvenience and assure you that all appropriate steps have been taken to protect our water supplies and to minimize the impact to your water service.
