The Career Place provides comprehensive employment and career services that are easy to access, customer-driven, and linked to the latest technology. Managed by Middlesex Community College, The Career Place helps customers find current job openings, assess their skill levels and interests, and enter education and training programs. The Career Place also provides area businesses a convenient one-stop source for skilled workers and training options.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Unemployment Insurance Counseling Walk-in Hours:

The Career Place provides comprehensive employment and career services that are easy to access, customer-driven, and linked to the latest technology.

Since 1997, the center has served over 75,000 individuals and more than 4,000 local employers. Chartered by the Metro North Regional Employment Board, and managed by Middlesex Community College, The Career Place helps individuals to find current job openings, assess their skill levels and interests, and enter education and training programs. In addition to a friendly and professional environment in which to work, we offer a wealth of resources free of charge, including computer skills workshops, employment workshops, and access to state-of-the-art research tools, including the Internet.

The Career Place provides area businesses a convenient one-stop source for skilled workers and training options. Account representatives work closely with employers to locate qualified job applicants, upgrade the skills of their existing workers, navigate training and economic development programs, and provide up-to-date, online labor market information. Employers can also benefit from the many free services at The Career Place including posting current job openings and using conference rooms for on-site recruiting.
