Parents from Woburn and surrounding communities are invited to join the Student Club LEARN for its fourth annual Parent Forum on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 7-9 p.m., at Woburn Memorial High School Auditorium. The forum will address signs of substance use, interventions and treatment options.  Special guests include drug speaker and registered nurse Carol Digiantommaso; drug and alcohol group counselor Denise Peaslee; Ed Blue, treatment director, Essex County, and licensed alcohol and drug counselor; Lt. Bob Ferullo Woburn Police Department; and chief probation officer Vince Piro Jr., of the Woburn District Court HEAT (Heroin Education Awareness Task) Force Program.

The event is sponsored by the Student Club LEARN, striving to stop impaired driving and promote substance abuse awareness. Childcare will be available on site by LEARN volunteers.

Drug and alcohol addiction is a universal problem, and now, in the 21st century, with the help of the numerous research and studies conducted, there are several ways to fight this and come out of the spell of substance abuse addiction.

Secondly, drug rehabs and alcohol rehabs in Colorado might specialize in treating specific populations such as drug rehabs that specialize in dual diagnosis treatment or a Colorado drug rehab program focused on providing treatment for the LGBT community.

California drug intervention will give assistance to people in doing a drug intervention to save a loved one who doesn't think he or she needs help to overcome a drugs or alcohol dependency.
