The weather forecast for tonight has taken a turn for the worse, so we need to postpone the Horn Pond concert featuring BeatleTracks until tomorrow, Saturday August 20. Starting at 6:45 once again. Band details below.

Bring Soup to Beat Soup!

Food DriveHunger happens year 'round, and the Council of Social Concern's Food Pantry has needs during these summer months. Help to support their cause by bringing non-perishable food within date to the SCI table at the Beat Soup concert this Friday, July 15, 7-9 p.m. at Horn Pond.

Click read more for a list of staple items and things they tend to run low on. If you are unable to bring food with you to the concert tomorrow, donations may be dropped off at the Food Pantry at 2 Merrimac Street in Woburn Mondays–Fridays between 9:00-5:00.

The Horn Pond Summer Concert, featuring Beat Soup and sponsored by Bill Sullivan of Edward Jones, was postponed due to inclement weather. The concert is now scheduled for this Friday, July 15, 7 p.m.
  

The McTeggarts, Traditionally a Success!

The McTeggartsThursday, June 30 - It was beautiful night for a concert at Horn Pond, it was breezy and Ice House Park filled right up with people excited to see a concert.  The McTeggarts, a crowd favorite, played traditional Irish music for two solid hours, without stopping to take a break for the second year in a row.  Attendees ranged in age from 2 weeks old to 90-something!  Many attendees enjoyed picnic dinners and snacks, while those that forgot to pack their own, stood in line at the ice cream truck for pizza slices or ice cream.  This concert was coordinated by Social Capital Inc. along with the North Suburban YMCA and WREN (Woburn Residents’ Environmental Network) and sponsored by by Sean Coakley and Atlantic Power Cleaning Corporation.

The Concert Series Committee is proud to announce the 2011 Horn Pond Summer Concert Series! The Horn Pond Summer Concert Series is a collection of free concerts designed to promote community spirit organized by SCI, the North Suburban YMCA and WREN (Woburn Residents’ Environmental Network), and sponsored by local businesses. A special thank you goes out to the City of Woburn, Tucker Quinn and the Woburn DPW for providing a stage and helping with other concert logistics.
