I thought this book review I wrote had some applicability to the Woburn Local group here:I'm glad that Omnivore's Dilemma:  A Natural History of Four Meals by Michael Pollan finally made its way off my reading list.  This compelling work prompts significant reflection about where our food comes from and broader questions around the meaning of food in human culture.  read more »

Hello Woburn local members--let me chime in with my reasons for signing up for this group.  Of course, I have general interest in building up our local community that is reflected in my work developing SCI.  But I think what really grabbed my attention about this new group, from David E's posts, was it's connection to personal passion for tasty, healthy food.   read more »
