Woburn Cultural Council

Proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities and science programs are due October 15, 2014.

The Woburn Cultural Council has set the October 15, 2014 postmark deadline for organizations, schools and individuals to apply for grants that support cultural activities in the community. According to Council spokesperson Joanne Mulkerin, these grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities in Woburn - including exhibits, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, workshops and lectures.

The Woburn Cultural Council is still receiving grant applications for its two grant programs, the LCC and the Field Trip grant, but applicants only have until October 15, 2012 to sign their applications and get them sent out. 

The Woburn Cultural Council supports community cultural projects. They have specific guidelines that Woburn's local cultural council has determined will enhance and encourage cultural events within the community such as instructional events, exhibits, field trips, performances, festivals, music, and more. The Cultural Council does its best to fund projects that benefit the greatest number of people, while offering variety to all ages.
