April 23rd at the Woburn CoffeeHouse
At our next CoffeeHouse we will have as our featured perfomers, Kiki Breevlife, and Catch Wreck.

"God speaks through you, do not ignore Him" has been Kiki Breevlife's motto since the start of her Hip Hop journey. There is evidence of His Creative Force speaking especially through Kiki's music. Her aptly named alias describes exactly what she intends to do with her work: Breathe Life. Born in Brooklyn, NY at the threshold of her most influential genre of music, KiKi reminds her audience that she was born with "Hip Hop". Due to extreme poverty and an unsafe living environment as a teenager, Kiki Breevlife's mother relocated to Boston, MA in search of a better life. It was there that Kiki made use of her natural gift of lyricism and holds the title as Boston's most driven and influential female MC to date. KiKi Breevlife took the reigns on her own to begin performing at local open mics, entering and winning numerous freestyle battles along the city as well as in her hometown of New York City. She proves to be none short of an expressive artist with the ability to delve into the listener's soul and stir emotion. She presents diverse views of life, social issues, and personal experiences utilizing her incomparable voice. To hear some of Kiki's music, please visit her myspace page here.

Hailing from Boston Massachusetts and coming into being on the 24th of January in the year 1989, Catch Wreck grew up on the streets of Roxbury’s Egleston Square. In developing his music, Catch drew from his experiences, both good and bad, and aligned himself with the struggle faced by people of color. His music comes from the reality faced by its listeners and sheds light on what it means to not simply be a youth of color in the world today but also to be a voice of dissent in an industry of artists willing to place marketability before self-respect and integrity. To hear some of Catch Wreck's music, please visit his myspace page here.
