Join the Woburn Lions Club on Saturday, June 8th at 10AM for a showing of the award-winning documentary The Renegades: A Beep Ball Story.

The Association of Blind Citizens (ABC) has partnered with the Lions to bring this film about a beep baseball team for the blind to the Showcase Cinema in Woburn. This baseball team gives individuals who are blind a chance to participate in a team sport, develop team building skills and enhance personal independent living skills.

This film raises awareness of blind athletes and the volunteers that work with them. After the film, the Lions Club will host a baseball cookout and ceremony from 12-2PM at the Crowne Plaza. Tickets for this event are $25 per person. To purchase tickets, please click here.

This showing will help fundraise and support the team for their 2013 season. Don't miss this inspiring film!

For more information, please contact John Oliveira, President of ABC, at (781) 961-1023 or Brian Doherty, 3rd Vice President of the Woburn Host Lions Club, at (781) 935-7801.
