Getting Into The Festive Spirit With Sunday's Holiday House Tour

Holiday House Tour

Once again the city of Woburn enjoyed a festive afternoon at the SCI Woburn Holiday House Tour this Sunday.  Seven homes were featured on this year’s tour, allowing community members the chance to explore the city while getting into the holiday spirit.  As in years past, this event brought varied groups of people together, connecting neighbors and strengthening their ties within the local community.
 
Many thanks go out to all the wonderful people who made this year’s Holiday House Tour such a success.  We could not have done it without all the committee members, house hosts, sponsors, and volunteers.  As always, if you would like to learn more about how to get involved with next year’s Holiday House Tour, please contact Karen at krice@socialcapitalinc.org.

The SCI Woburn Holiday House Tour Is Here!

Holiday House Tour

This year, there will be five new homes on the SCI Woburn Holiday House Tour, taking place this Sunday, December 4, from 2-6pm.  Get ready to be awed by the beautiful decorations at each of the seven homes on the tour route.  In keeping with years past, this is a self-guided tour with participants arriving at one of the starter houses and receiving driving directions with the locations to the other homes.
 
So don't delay, get your tickets today at at either the Woburn Public Library or Malvy's Flowers & Gifts or at one of the two starting houses on the tour on Sunday, December 4 at 2:00pm: 7 Mishawum Rd. - The Burdett Mansion - home of the Woburn Historical Society or 17 Arlington Rd. - Woburn Masonic Hall.

The 2011 Woburn Holiday House Tour Committee has been working very hard to bring you this year’s tour with new and interesting homes around Woburn. This year’s tour is Sunday, December 4 from 2:00 to 6:00pm. It will be here before you know it! Get together with some old friends you haven’t seen in a while and make a fun day out by including the Holiday House Tour. Tickets are now available on the SCI Woburn website and will soon be available at the following locations around Woburn:

The 2011 Woburn Holiday House Tour will be taking place on Sunday, December 4.  Previously, the 2010 event allowed nearly 250 Woburn residents to tour Woburn’s most interesting and festively decorated homes.  If you are interested in joining the planning committee or would like your house to be considered for this year's tour, please contact Karen Rice at krice@socialcapitalinc.org or (781) 935-2244. Another Year, Another Successful Holiday House Tour

SCI Woburn would like to thank all of the volunteers, families and businesses that opened their homes to host this year’s Holiday House Tour that took place on Sunday, December 12. Thanks to their generosity we had another successful tour: the Burdett Mansion/Woburn Historical Society, the Crowley/MacBride Family, the Devine Family, the Flaherty Family, New Horizons, NuPath, Prudential Preferred Realty, Spence Farm, the Tidd Home, and the Walsh Family.

On the following page there is a quick and easy way to purchase your tickets for this year's Tour!  The house tour is Sunday December 6th from 2pm to 5pm and gives you the chance to tour at least eight of Woburns most historic and best decorated homes.

We have options for purchasing any number of tickets for you and your family; and don't forget that if you purchase four tickets, you get the one free!  We encourage you to get your tickets here or at any of our locations around Woburn.
