Chase Community Giving LogoChase Community Giving is a program run by Chase Bank, which distributes corporate philantrhopy dollars to local charities and nonprofits.  The distribution of those funds is based on how many people vote online for their nonprofit.

Social Capital Inc, as a 501c3 nonprofit, is entered into this contest. There is a total of 5 million dollars being given away during this contest, and your support is appreciated.

Mission of Deeds Fundraiser

mission of deeds logoOn Sunday, Nov. 23, the Winchester High School Symphony will be joined by the 80-voice Scituate High School Chorus for a performance of one of choral literature’s most well-known masterworks, Schubert’s Mass in G. The performance will take place at St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester, at 3 P.M.  The event is a fundraiser for the Mission of Deeds, a not-for-profit agency that provides furniture and other essential household items to those in need throughout Middlesex and Essex Counties.

United Stationers Yard SaleThe United Stationers yard sale has been postponed to Saturday, October 4 due to weather.                                                                                                     

 
It will be held on Saturday, October 4th at the United Stationers building, at 415 Wildwood Ave in Woburn.  It will go from 8a.m. until 1p.m., with the proceeds to benefit the Woburn Council of Social Concern, The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
