The 14th Annual Festival On The Common will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, 3 to 7 p.m. in Woburn.  The festival features live continuous holiday music performances from the steps of City Hall, free singing hayrides on horse-drawn wagons, ice sculpting demonstrations, roaming carolers, food courts, and the Woburn Fire Department Smoke Safety House. The North Suburban YMCA staff is asking area residents to join them Saturday, Sept. 20 through Saturday, Sept. 27 for a week full of fun and exciting events and activities meant to encourage individuals and families to live a healthy and active life.
America On the Move is a national non-profit initiative dedicated to improving the health and quality of life by promoting healthy eating and active living for individuals, families, and communities.The goal is to encourage individuals and families to make two small changes each day; take 2,000 more steps (or activity equivalent) and eat 100 fewer calories (by eating smarter).
This year the North Suburban YMCA in Woburn will hold a variety of events and activities for all ages to celebrate America On the Move Week which will kick off on Saturday, Sept. 20.  read more »
