On Friday, May 2nd the Council of Social Concern will host their 26th Annual Auction. This event will take place at the Crowne Plaza located at 15 Middlesex Canal Road in Woburn beginning at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $40 per person and are only sold in advance. No tickets will be available for purchase at the door. The event will have a buffet dinner, cash bar, a silent and live auction. There will be an abundance of great items to bid on including, sports memorabilia, theatre tickets, sporting events, restaurants, gift certificates, and much more.

SCI is hosting a Food and Wine Pairing Event in Woburn on Thursday, January 31 from 6:00-8:00pm. Come try a delicious assortment of food and wine while mingling with others. 

David Boyle, Vice President of Martignetti's Companies, the leading distributor of wine and spirits in New England and the 7th largest in the country, will be leading the tasting event.

Guests will also get the chance to participate in an auction where you could win a NFL Pro Football signed by Vince Wilfork and other great items!

Every holiday season, shoppers brave the lines at the mall to purchase gifts for friends and family. This year, have some fun shopping for gifts by bidding on an auction from the comfort of your own home. The Friends Helping Seniors are opening up the bidding for their annual holiday auction on November 1 at 8:00am through November 16.

There are a number of fun and unique items that will make the perfect holiday gifts! The highest bidder will get the chance to win items such as gift certificates, Red Sox tickets, gift baskets, hotel stays and much more!

Proceeds from the auction will help support services for the seniors of Woburn such as transportation services, Senior Center programs, domestic services and educational opportunities. The "Friends" are a private, non profit organization that works cooperatively with the Woburn Council on Aging. This auction will allow the Friends to expand upon the programs already offered to seniors.

The North Suburban YMCA is hosting “An Evening of Dreams” gala on Friday, October 12, from 6:30pm-10:30pm at the Hilton Hotel in Woburn. Proceeds from this gala go towards a great cause! The Y’s Annual Fund provides financial assistance to families and individuals, so no one is turned away from the Y’s programs and services.
