Relay For Life of Woburn

Relay for Life will begin on Saturday, May 17 at 4:00 pm at Library Park Field located behind the Woburn Public Library. At Relay For Life events, communities across the globe come together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has already taken too much. The funds raised help make a difference in the fight against cancer.

On Wednesday, April 30 Relay for Life of Woburn will host a fundraiser at Bertucci’s. This event will take place at Bertucci’s of Woburn located at 17 Commerce Way from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm. Take a break from cooking and enjoy lunch or dinner with Bertucci’s and help raise funds for Relay for Life of Woburn.

On Saturday, April 5 Relay for Life Woburn team, Kathy’s Kampers will host a fundraiser at the South End Italian Club from 7-11 pm. This event will take place at the South End Italian Club located at 44 Fowle Street in Woburn. This fundraising event is in memory of Kathy Gibbons. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Relay for Life of Woburn. Tickets are $20 each. There will be music, raffles, silent auctions, food, and a cash bar.

On Thursday, March 13 Uno's Restaurant will host a Dough Raiser to help benefit Relay for Life of Woburn. Relay for Life events allow communities from across the Globe to come together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has already taken a toll on many people. Funds raised for Relay for Life truly make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Woburn's 2013 Relay for Life celebration will be taking place exactly 1 month before the Relay for Life event. This celebration will include the lighting of the Common, goodie bags and a brief ceremony with a proclamation from Mayor Galvin.
